The Staff Selection Commission has conducted a written examination for the Eligible candidates of Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles. Staff Selection Commission has recently released a notification for the Recruitment of Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2018 to fill up 58,373 vacant posts. The online registration for prescribed posts will be starting from 17-August-2018. The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Computer Based Test followed by PET The Commission has not released the dates of CBRT yet. However it is expected that, the commission will hold the Computer Based Examination all over India around October- November 2018. Soon after the CBT, the commission will take up the responsibility of the evaluating the answer sheets.

Roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified the Computer Based Examination. The Commission along with the list of the selected candidates will also release the selection criteria or the Cut Off marks of the Computer Based Examination. The selection of the candidates in the CBRT will be purely based on the SSC GD Cut off Marks as decided by the Commission. However, the SSC GD Cut Off arks 2018 will vary category wise. The candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT in order to get selected for the next level of Recruitment.

SSC GD 2018-19 Exam Pattern
SSC GD 2018-19 will be conducted in three phases:- Written Exam
- Physical Efficiency Test
- Medical Examination

For Written Examination: This is an online written exam constituting of 4 sections to be completed in a time span of 90 minutes. Around 100 questions will be asked carrying 1 mark each. 1/4th of the total mark of a particular question is deducted if attempted wrong by a candidate.
