Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a Rs 20 lakh crore aid package to help the economy recover from the Corona virus. This includes the aid previously announced by the government. As part of this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been announcing plans and policy changes for different sectors for the last four days. In these four days, the finance minister spent a total of Rs. 11.02 lakh crore. These were mainly advertisements for agriculture, micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME), migrant labor, and revised policies and incentives for industries. 5.94 lakh crore


  • Working Capital Facility for Businesses and MSMEs - Rs. 3 lakh crore
  • Credit for troubled MSMEs - Rs. 20 thousand crore
  • Fund for Fund Scheme for Small, Medium Units - Rs. 50 thousand crore
  • Provident Fund to Businesses and Craftsmen - Rs. 2800 crore
  • Reduction in provident fund rates - Rs. 6750 crore
  • Special Liquidity Scheme for NBFC / HFC / MFIs - Rs. 30 thousand crore
  • Partial Credit Guarantee Scheme 2.0 - Rs. 45 thousand crore
  • To increase liquidity in power distribution companies - Rs. 90 thousand crore
  • Reduction in TDS / TCS rates - Rs. 50 thousand crore

Relief Package Part-2 includes Rs. 3.10 lakh crore:

  • Free foodgrains to migrant laborers for 2 months - Rs. 3500 crore
  • Interest Assistance for Mudra Infant Loan - Rs. 1500 crore
  • Special credit facility for hawkers, lorries, rugs doing business on the road - Rs. 5000 crore
  • For poor housing-affordable housing- Rs. 70 thousand crore
  • Additional Emergency Working Capital through NABARD - Rs. 30 thousand crore
  • Additional credit assistance through Kisan Credit Card - Rs. 2 lakh crore

Relief Package Part-3 includes Rs. 1.50 lakh crore:

  • For Food Micro Enterprise - Rs. 10 thousand crore
  • Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana - Rs. 20 thousand crore
  • Operation Green: Top to Total - Rs. 500 crore
  • Agricultural Infrastructure Fund - Rs. 1 lakh crore
  • Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund - Rs. 15 thousand crore
  • For promotion of herbal farming - Rs. 4 thousand crore
  • For bee keeping- Rs. 500 crore

Relief Packages Part-4 and 5 include Rs. 48,100 crore:

  • Additional allocation for MGNREGA - Rs. 40 thousand crore.
  • Viability Gap Fund - Rs. 8,100 crore.

On the last day, the self-reliant India gave a full account of the package:

  • Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave a detailed account of the package announced by the Prime Minister on Sunday. He said on the last day of the announcement of the package, the government has so far spent Rs. 20.97 lakh crore financial aid package has been announced.
